
Climate change has topped a poll of threats facing businesses, ahead of terrorism, the credit crunch, pandemic flu and flooding.
The report, conducted by Business Continuity Expo 2008, showed that 87% of businesses see climate change as the single biggest threat in terms of risk assessment and the effect it could have on their businesses future growth. The rising cost of energy is also a serious risk, with 83% of businesses concerned that it will have a major impact on their business over the next five years.
