Going green is here to stay
Concern over the environment and climate change is a long-term issue that is here to stay, according to a new study in America.
The report by Intellectual Marketing showed that 78% of CEOs believe that green is here to stay. In addition, over half have increased their efforts to protect and improve the environment, whilst nearly half (46%) believe it is “very important” for organisations to engage in business practices that improve and protect the environment.
The report reinforced that being seen to be green is an essential part of their marketing strategy, with 74% saying that it was “very important”. This move is in no doubt linked to the fact that 69% say that they are responding to customers demands to protect the environment.
