Staff want their company to do more for the environment and are critical of their employers for not doing enough, a new report out by MSN reveals.Working for a company that has eco incentives and has sound green credentials is a key concern for many. Officer workers cited recycling bins, sensor lighting and automatic computer shutdowns as schemes that they want their employer to bring.
There has also been an increase in the creation of “green teams” within businesses to implement green measures to save waste and reduce energy.
The report supports the high staff satisfaction and retention that comes with a company that takes steps to reduce its environmental impact and manages its carbon footprint.
