Over a quarter of staff who failed to turn off their computer and other electrical equipment whilst on holiday this summer, squandered £5m worth of electricity.The findings by energy company E.ON showed some interesting attitudes to who is responsible for turning off electrical equipment, with half of the 1,216 works taking part in the survey saying that it was the responsibly of the employer and not the staff.
